Learn to Make Ikura

Each fall we save roe from our reefnet chums to make our own Ikura. It is nothing short of stunning, and easy to do!

Class is limited to 20. Bring your own tennis racket, we will provide jars. We will work from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Please bring a lunch. Each person will receive a half pint of ikura to take home, and more will be available to purchase.

Each year we raise enough chickens or other poultry to serve for Thanksgiving. The flavor is always remarkable, no matter which birds we raise. This year it will be American Beauty Morans, as well as a few rare La Fleche chickens.
